Ending the Self Damage that Leads to Incarceration
This 'Merit-Based,' Personal-Development Course Series is a 'Social and Civil' re-education for "At-risk" youth and "Second-chance" individuals who still want the opportunity to earn the life, happiness and respect they have always desired for themselves and their families.
-- Not Recommended for Violent Offenders or Active Substance Abusers --
Life Experiences Don't Always Match Childhood Dreams
**Bail - Bond - Attorneys - Court - Fines - Restitution**
These 'Financial Challenges' are all unnecessary distractions to the lives of our supportive families, friends, intimates and well-intentioned community volunteers. These distractions are the costly results of those, with high aspirations and minimal adult-life preparation. Most have chosen to take the shortcuts, fast tracks and apparent easier paths in life. Clearly, those with this mentality are in need of upgraded re-education.
Private - Parents who have teens who are veering off their planned path to life success, will need to walk through each lesson of this course series with them. Parents will need to discuss each area of each course lesson as a facilitator. The goal is to study and learn each lesson, thoroughly, to clarify any misunderstandings regarding the importance of the information presented. Teens need the broader perspective of adults with real-world, life expe;:rience to explain what their teens might misunderstand or choose to ignore, due to a lack of perspective.
Community Organizations - Society in general, can be extremely unforgiving, regarding formerly incarcerated individuals, who appear to be angry, unrepentant and defiant, concerning societal standards of responsible behavior and general respect for others. Often, they were never exposed to this information and learning as a part of their 'In-home' training, at any point, of their childhood. With the right support and genuine caring, they can learn this valuable information now. This course series was designed to do just that.
Incarceration Organizations - Corrections facilities must be willing to provide supervision and support for the enrollees, who are in or approaching pre-release. The enrollees must gain the understanding that will contribute to each person's journey back into society with the attitude, knowledge and ability to do much more than just secure gainful employment. This course series teaches its students, why and how, to become high-contributing, productive citizen.
Note: The progression through each course is merit based. Each course is structured to be interactive and, therefore, it must be formally facilitated. No student may progress to the next course in the series without learning the included digital support materials and submitting the required project at the conclusion of each course. This is NOT a "go-through-the-motions-to-pass-the-time" kind of course series.
Students are expected to assimilate what they learn, from each lesson concept, into their lifestyle, thinking, mentality, decision making and behavior, immediately. If the student does not give a full, exhaustive effort, he or she will not be permitted to advance to the next course. Students must put in the work. The course project will reflect the applied learning that each student has assimilated, into his or her life, in each course.
